KTS continue to play-out and recently completed a slew of shows in
their hometown of Cincinnati/Northern KY. The group spent quite a bit
of time in Cincinnati's "Northside" neighborhood and made quite a few
new friends and played w/ some great bands including 1000 Arms, This
Moment In Black History (Cleveland), Viva La Foxx, Seven Speed Vortex,
Death In Graceland, The Sweep and label-mates Caterpillar Tracks. If
you have not heard of these bands or have yet to actually sit down and
listen to them for yourself, do yourself a favor and check them out
online ASAP!
Wrapping up the local shows, the band also played last weekend's Cincy
Punk Fest at Cincinnati's Poison Room. For those of you who missed it -
you missed a beautiful thing. So many great bands and none of them
held-back! Special thanks to Adam Rosing for organizing the event and
inviting Knife The Symphony and fellow Phratry-bands Caterpillar Tracks
and Covington.
Knife The Symphony continue to work on new material and will be working
on a new release shortly after returning home from a tour starting this
week! See below for dates and cities.
More news regarding other happenings with the label and its roster
coming soon! Thanks!

first off, this is way overdue but we'd like to thank everyone for helping out with the cd release show. it went better than we could've imagined. since then we've been playing some shows around town and the support is great. our invasion of northside is almost complete but we just received word that there will be one final mission to complete. before i explain here are some more shows of importance. friday feb. 17th we play with Catipillar Tracks and Death in Graceland at the gypsy hut and march 3rd we are playing at the southgate house with The Sweep, The Invitational and Ruby Vileos. march 10th we will be back in northside with local favs Viva la Foxx and from cleveland, This Moment In Black History. See the shows page for more details. In other news, our spring tour is coming together and we are getting anxious to get outta town for a bit. We would like to thank everyone that has helped us put this together, locally and afar.check the shows page all tour dates and upcoming shows.

Now that holidays are over, we can get down to business. Our cd which is about to be
released has reached the hands of many already, reviews are starting to roll in.
please check the reviews page. You can even send us an email and let us know what you
think. we just might post it. The song, "solemn solon", was recently featured on
www.fatrobotradio.com. A weekly podcast that discusses anything from music to politics
to sports to social issues, yet all with a sense of humor.if i remember correctly, the review
comes in around 20 minute mark.
In other news, with our cd release show just around the corner, literally, we decided
to plant our faces on newsprint all over town. these give you a rare glance into the
minds of kts and what lies beneath. here are links to those various publications:

The dates for the spring tour are starting to solidify and plans for our departure are
starting to be made. before we leave though have a few shows here in town. check the shows
page for dates and venues.
on a sad note, our friends up north at the "house of muses" in marquette, mi recently
suffered a major setback. the club/gallery had a big fire and the cause is unknown. this
place is a very cool collective, where bands and artists and passersby's are greeted with
open arms all the same. please visit their website www.myspace.com/twothirtyone and drop
them a line or just to check them out. we wish them the best of luck.
there have been some new
pics added to the media page and stay tuned for upcoming tour dates and information.
thanks!!!
